I ordered the half Efo and half Egusi with mixed fish, and wow, I enjoyed every bite! It reminded me so much of my grandmother's cooking—absolutely delicious! Finger-licking good, literally!

Wanted authentic African cuisine and looked up the great reviews from this location; place was small but very cute and extremely clean as well as well maintained, the owners were friendly and took time to explain all dishes, prices and recommended certain dishes as it was my first time there. Ordered the chicken and also the fish with the famous FUFU that everyone recommends ...IT WAS DELICIOUS and the fufu was soft and bouncy but was spicy my daughter recommends it but less spicy my son-in-law loved it ....HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU LOVE AUTHENTIC AFRICAN CUISINE AND IF NOT ITS A DEFINITELY A MUST EXPERIENCE TO TRY...

Enjoyed eating here. My family and I visited New Jersey from Maryland and found this restaurant via google search. The lady who attended to us was extremely welcoming and her customer service was top notch. The food was delicious and her price is reasonable. We ordered poundo yam and egusi, white rice and designer stew, fried rice, jollof rice and everything was delicious.

Very fresh food and authentic Nigerian food. Fufu is very fresh and fluffy. The owner Modupe is very helpful with suggestions on what to try if you never tried it before. This is a great place that you must try and it’s a gem in Newark! I loved the fried sweet plantains bc they were perfectly ripe and soft and sweet. She takes very careful care to make the food top notch. Parking is free on the street.

Sooo delicious!!! We will definitely be returning! Modupe, the owner and chef is the sweetest and seriously such a good cook! We asked her what her favorite foods were to order and she said she will make us a couple different things to try, we loved each and every one! We had egusi & fufu (fufu was perfect texture), spinach stew, and rice with plantains and goat. We will definitely be returning and recommend it to anyone looking for the best fufu and egusi in New Jersey!

THIS IS THE ONLY REVIEW YOU NEEDI am from Maryland and came to New York on spring break, we decided to stay in New Jersey. We found this place and I'll be rating it over 10 1. Food Taste is 10/10 2. Neatness of the restaurant is 7/10 (And I only gave it 7 because it's in New Jersey) 3. Customer service is top notch 10/10 (Very pleasant lady) 4. Price - is 10/10 (Very pocket friendly) it should cost more for real! 5. Location on the map is EASY! Ensure you come here to EAT! Cos I'll be back with my family again. My son hardly eats outside or out, especially Naija food. He finished his Amala and Ewedu! I was to take my rice and efo riro away but ate it there, the fish! OMG!!! This is the type of business that needs HUGE funding! This is TASTY MEAL! Thank me LATER please after patronizing her!

The fufu with fish was great, my boyfriend got the jollof with mixed meat and that was delicious as well. On top of that the woman who took our order was super sweet and enthusiastic about how good the food would be. Definitely coming back
